Where it all began for me

My career began with a passion for photographing babies and children, and although I have moved into the wonderful world of weddings, newborns will always have a special place in my heart. There is nothing like the wonder of a woman carrying her first baby, or the magical atmosphere of a house that just welcomed a new baby. I love capturing families "as they are" with of course those posed shots we all love.


Please, dont worry about cleaning your home for me, all we need is a window and a clean corner, and we are good to go!

MATERNITY

Studio or in-home Maternity - $425(+GST+studio fee)


One-hour session at a select studio location or in the comfort of your home. Your session fee includes a one hour session, 20 released high-resolutions images of your choice from an online gallery. Galleries usually have between 100-200 images to choose from, and of course, there is the option to purchase additional digital images. (Please ask for pricing packages)

These sessions are one-hour sessions at a select outdoor location! With your session fee, you receive 20 high-resolution images of your choice from a private online gallery. Family sessions usually have 80-150 images to choose from with the option to purchase additional images.

Newborn Lifestyle - $425(+GST)


There is nothing I love more than coming into a client's home during those precious first few weeks of their baby's life. There is a certain magic in the home with a fresh little babe.


I moved away from the really posed newborn sessions, towards capturing the realness that is having a baby. Between chasing your toddler around, to quiet moments in the nursery, I capture it all.


Your session fee includes a 1-2 hour session in the comfort of your own home *option to book studio. I always bring my box of "goodies" including neutral newborn outfits, headbands, bonnets, wraps, and fabrics. I also bring either a wooden box or some other prop to capture those more "posed" images for grandma :)


Each session includes a private online gallery of 80-150 images and 20 released images of your choice. *option to purchase additional images

Ohhh I love family lifestyle. These are so unique to each family. I love that clients invite me into their worlds, and I get to capture a moment in time for them. "Remember when we lived in that house beside the woods, and you guys use to have so much fun sledding and exploring?" Those precious memories can sometimes fade, I get it, I promise (mom of two!). So it is not lost on me the importance of these moments in time captured for you to forever remember. These are just "nice photos", this is your lives. :)

Sunset is past your kid's bedtime?


I GET it. Messing up your kids routine is out of the question for some people. Young kids need routine. And I KNOW the battle the next day when that toddler hasn't slept properly. But I promise you, it. Is. Worth. It.

Sunset is just the most flattering lighting for portrait photos. Not only that, the dreamy golden hour look when that sun hits justttt right can't be beaten. Of course, I do a lot of earlier sessions because as I said, I get it. But I recommend if we aren't doing an Urban session or there isn't lots of shade, sunset is best.

Want more than 20 photos?


In order to keep session my prices down, I offer 20 photos with the initial fee. This gives people that may only need a handful of photos for printing the option of a less expensive session fee. I have packaged pricing on digital photo releases and will gladly provide it upon request! I also keep all my galleries on a hard drive if you ever change your mind and would like more photos. (seriously, I have galleries from 2015! lol)

Feel like your "not photogenic"


I get this one A-LOT. I promise you, I will do my best to capture all the "good angles" and edit anything I see that I think is out of "place" (so to speak) Also, if you ask any of my clients, I am a total goof ball during sessions. Between my crazy noises I have to make to make babies laugh, to my reallllly bad jokes, I promise to get authentic emotion and moments out of you and your family :)
